Michael Houtz is a Brooklyn based designer and art director. He’s worked with a diverse range of clients developing brand strategy & expression across print and digital environments. Michael is currently a freelance designer/ art director at The New York Times Magazine.
Before the magazine, Michael worked alongside renowned agencies like Pentagram under partner Emily Oberman, Standard Black, and The Heads of State. He has also had the privilege of teaching design at his alma mater; Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia, where he's originally from.
