Michael Houtz is a New York based art director, designer, and illustrator creating visual identities for brands and publications.
He’s worked for The New York Times Magazine and Esquire, as well as branding agencies like The Heads of State, Standard Black, and Pentagram for partners Emily Oberman and Luke Hayman.
His illustrations have been featured in The Economist, Vanity Fair, The Atlantic, and The New York Times. He’s currently available for commission.
